How you can help!
MEAL SERVICE VOLUNTEERS
Set-up place settings, plate food, serve our guests and clean up after the meal. Family members are welcome to help out too. We ask volunteers to be 16 or older for meal service.
FOR THE YOUNGER SET
For our younger volunteers, we have a few of opportunities for them to help out at home.
Utensil Packets – Assemble packets for our guests that include a plastic fork, paper napkin, salt and pepper packet in a sealed sandwich baggie. (any amount is fine).
Placemats – Decorate paper placemats for our guests that celebrate the holidays and/or seasons. Regular construction paper and any amount is fine.
Centerpieces – Make our dining room festive. We would need 22.They do not have to be fancy, elaborate, or expensive. For example, we had paper bag turkeys for Thanksgiving — so cute!
Sandwiches and Desserts
Make sandwiches (25 to 350) or desserts for our guests to take with them. You can make peanut butter and jelly or meat (turkey or beef bologna) and cheese sandwiches (no mustard or mayo on the bread).
Place each sandwich in a sealed sandwich size baggie. For desserts, we suggest a few cookies or piece of cake put in a sealed baggie for easier
