Effective Negotiation Strategies for Early Careerists – Space is limited
September 30, 2020
Virtual Program
6:00pm-8:00pm
People often struggle with negotiating, especially early in their career. They might excel in every other part of a job interview or promotion discussion but stumble when asking for a higher salary, more competitive benefits, or additional growth opportunities. This event will empower attendees to navigate the negotiation conversation with hiring managers. During the first part of the evening, a panel of experienced leaders will share advice for effective negotiation. Afterward, panelists will facilitate discussions in small group breakout sessions, giving attendees a chance to ask questions in a less formal setting. Attendees will network with other healthcare professionals in the area and gain valuable knowledge on how to approach negotiations.

Thursday, November 8, 2018 Join HLNDV on November 8 in Philadelphia to learn more about career path opportunities in healthcare administration. Early or even mid-careerists often say, “I wish I could have that person’s job,” but the steps needed to get there are murky. This event will help address this gap by providing the opportunity to connect with mid- to late career professionals across the healthcare spectrum in small interactive group discussions. Participants will take part in two 30-minute small group discussions each concentrating on a focus area. A mid- to late careerist experienced in the area will lead the discussion, sharing his/her journey and answering questions.
