HLNDV October 2023 Board Retreat
Each year, the HLNDV Board of Directors convenes to review our activities and progress over the past year, and also makes plans for progress and improvements in the upcoming year.
On October 27, 2023, the Board met at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, New Jersey, for this annual meeting (thank you Tammy Huster and Cooper U!) The meeting was led by chapter President Lauren Glowienka and followed a packed agenda
The meeting included activities like a team-building exercise to help us get to know each other a bit better, led by Harry Holt and Danielle Werner and a review of our chapter metrics such as our progress on performance objectives such as member satisfaction, membership growth, attendance at chapter events, and percent of fellows in our chapter, to name a few. The chapter review was led by ACHE Regional Director Stacey Kidd who joined us from Chicago to help explain the progress of HLNDV and also how we compare to other chapters across the country.
Another interesting portion of the meeting was a presentation by Jasmine Kain and Liz Rohm who joined the group as part of our ‘Insiders’ contributors. These are early career members who have been asked to give input into HLNDV as we continue to work to offer networking and education opportunities of value to our members.
The Board also discussed Succession Planning as led by Colleen King-McClintock, with Lauren and Carey Gallagher reviewing our current Strategic Plan in order to begin drafting the next Strategic Plan for the chapter. The team is energized for a great 2024!
